6/10/2025 Daily Devotion: Consider Jesus

Hebrews 2:18-3:2 - “For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. Therefore, holy brothers, you who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession, who was faithful to him who appointed him …”

Consider. Jesus.

• Consider: to perceive, remark, observe, understand; to consider attentively, fix one's eyes or mind upon.

• Think about Jesus, study Jesus, discuss Jesus, analyze Jesus, learn about Jesus, KNOW JESUS.

Jesus KNOWS you.

• Jesus was tempted in EVERY way … yet did not succumb.

• We don’t understand the intensity of temptation that is never succumbed to!

• Jesus did not live a perfect Life so that He could piously hold it over you … Jesus stepped into humanity, lived a Perfect Life, died & conquered death SO THAT He could SAVE YOU and provide you the Power to live His Abundant Life.

Consider. Jesus.

• Consider WHY He came: to SAVE you from your self that you could KNOW GOD and live an ABUNDANT LIFE … all to Glorify God!

• Consider HOW He lived: in PERFECT SUBMISSION to God’s Will, dependent on His Father God for Strength, Power & Direction.

• Consider WHAT He gives: the same POWER that raised Jesus from the dead is AVAILABLE to you and to me … that we would LIVE in & through His Power, Trusting Him & Obeying His Will.

Consider Jesus … He’ll change your life!
