5/7/2025 Daily Devotion: Broken? Believe.

Exodus 6:9 - “Moses spoke thus to the people of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses, because of their broken spirit and harsh slavery.”

Have you ever felt broken down by your circumstances? Completely hopeless in your trials? Constrained by your own sin & failure? 🙋🏻‍♂️

GOD. IS. REAL.

• He has the same message for you and I as He had for the Israelites in Egyptian captivity … I AM THE LORD.

He has DELIVERED US from the burden of our circumstance.

• Jesus invited all of us who are weary & burdened to find rest IN HIM.

• When we find rest in Him, though our circumstances & challenges may not shift, our burdens are relieved.

• When we take our struggles TO HIM we experience HIS PEACE in all circumstance.

He has REDEEMED us from the slavery of our own sin.

• When we TRUST & FOLLOW Him we receive His Power over sin … no longer must we be subject to the whims & desires of our flesh … HIS SPIRIT lives in us and empowers us to conquer the sin that once ruled us!

• Your chains of slavery to sin are broken! … are you living like it?

He is YOUR GOD and you are HIS CHILD.

• He is not a far off, impersonal judging deity … He is your FATHER GOD.

• He Loves you. He provides for you. He is with you. He knows you. He wants you to KNOW HIM.

He has PURPOSE for you.

• He has designed & prepared a Promise Land of PURPOSE for you.

• He has designed & prepared you for this Promise Land of PURPOSE.

• Your most ABUNDANT LIFE will be found walking in this Purpose WITH HIM.

This is God’s Message to you … let the Israelites response be a WARNING to you!

• Do not let your broken spirit, harsh surroundings or sin addictions cause you to ignore God’s Message!

God. Is. Real.

HE. IS. YOUR. LORD.

Believe Him. Trust Him.
