5/14/2025 Daily Devotion: Know it. Do it.

Proverbs 29:18 - “Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.”

Prophetic Vision = God’s Vision delivered to us. GOD’s WILL.

Do you KNOW it?

You can’t do the Will of God if you don’t know what it is!
God CREATED us to be WITH HIM … that we would KNOW HIM. This is the DESIRE of God’s Heart … that we KNOW HIM! (And it is the deepest DESIRE of our own heart too … whether we know it or not … to KNOW GOD.)
God has Created each one of us in a unique way, for a unique PURPOSE, to do unique Good Works with our life … all for this reason: That we would KNOW HIM more completely and that people around us would KNOW HIM more completely.
This is God’s Vision for Creation, this is God’s Vision for His People … this is God’s Vision FOR YOU.

Are you DOING it?

When we aren’t driven & powered by GOD’s VISION … we are prone to wander! We cast off restraint … living this life based on our own vision, our own understanding, the ways of the world.
Are you driven & powered by your Creator God’s VISION for you and your life?
God is REVEALING Himself to you day in & day out through you the details and circumstance of your life … do you notice Him? Are you listening to Him? … Are you OBEYING Him?

When we KNOW GOD, we will LOVE GOD.

When we LOVE GOD, we will TRUST GOD.

When we TRUST GOD, we will OBEY GOD.

If you are struggling to see His Will in your life … If you are refusing to obey His Will for your life … you don’t TRUST GOD completely.

Lean into Him … KNOW HIM. He Loves you and He has a VISION for your life that will satisfy the deepest desire of your heart!
