Your Wood Offering
In Nehemiah 10, Israel receives instructions to support the work of God. Among the many gifts they were expected to give to the Temple was a wood offering - a gift from each family throughout the year to keep the altar for burnt offerings always aflame, as God commanded in Leviticus. Participation in the wood offering accepted a covenant to invest their resources only in ways that honor God.
Every log of wood that was placed upon the altar to fuel the flame lit by God acknowledged each person’s responsibility to support God’s work. It recognized that God can be trusted with our resources because He promises to provide for us.
Your donation to The Woodpile Co. is a log placed on the altar to God. It will be used to directly fuel our ministry: to bring the fire of God’s Word and God’s Will to life in His people as individuals, teams & organizations, and in churches who do His work.

The Woodpile Co. is a nonprofit that has applied for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Our application is pending with the IRS. Upon such recognition, which is subject to the IRS's discretion, your donation will qualify as a deductible charitable contribution to the extent the law provides. Donations made while the application is pending may be considered tax-deductible contributions once the status is approved. If the IRS denies the application, donations will not be tax-deductible.
Our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is being handled by a nonprofit tax professional. We expect full approval within weeks.
